Preservation Program Manager, Arizona State Historic Preservation Office
Eric Vondy is Preservation Program Manager for the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), which assists private citizens, private institutions, governments, tribes, and state and federal agencies in the identification, evaluation, protection, and enhancement of historic and archeological properties that have significance for local communities, the State of Arizona, or the nation. Eric oversees the National Register program, the Federal Historic Tax Credit Program, the State Property Tax Programs, the Certified Local Government Program, the Arizona Heritage Fund, and is involved in Preserve AZ, the annual Arizona Historic Preservation Conference.
Prior to joining SHPO, Eric worked in the airline industry doing pricing and revenue management and was involved with the Essential Air Service Program. Eric is a 3rd generation Arizonan and attended Camelback High School and Arizona State University, where he received a BA in History.
