WLI hosts Work$mart Salary Negotiation Training
Created for working women, Work$mart is an interactive workshop that teaches you to evaluate, negotiate, and articulate your worth confidently in the job market.
The ULI Arizona Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Committee is hosting this training to strengthen negotiation skills for women and help hammer away the gender wage gap. Expert facilitators Dr. Regina Edwards and Natasha Lopez-Rodriguez from the Arizona YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix lead discussions on the gender pay gap and its personal effects. Small group activities and role-play exercises give you the opportunity to create and perfect your persuasive salary pitch. You learn objective research and benchmarking skills to establish an equitable target salary, whether you are: striving for a promotion, asking for a raise, negotiating a new salary, or seeking guidance on self-employed contract rates.
