    Sloane McFarland

    Founder, Martha + Mary

    Sloane McFarland is a fourth generation Arizona native. A graduate of Brophy College Preparatory (Phoenix, 1991) and St. John’s College (New Mexico,1995), he is married and has two children. Sloane is the founder and sole principal of Martha + Mary, a firm with three distinct but interrelated arms: real estate development, hospitality and creative services/art production. Since 1995, Sloane has focused on community-valued urban infill projects while growing long term real estate development holdings, expanded into the hospitality industry and solidified his background as an exhibiting artist into a creative services practice. Notable projects include: Park Central (Pensus Group reposition of 1MM SF mall - Phoenix - 1996/97), Central (12M SF community infill project - Lux, Pane Bianco, Undefeated - 2000/2019), Yourland (20 acre, 200M SF mixed use project - 2006/2019), Welcome Diner/Welcome Chicken + Donut (3 restaurants - 2003/2019). Sloane is involved in the Arizona arts community having produced one man exhibitions at institutions such as Arizona State University Art Museum and Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Sloane has served on the Arizona State University Art Museum Advisory Board and Board of Catholic Phoenix.
