Aloha! I'm so excited to be part of ULI. It has certainly helped me grow in my career and opened my eyes to all the possibilities! I am a civil engineer specializing in traffic engineering. In 2019 I founded Lokahi with a vision of shaping a collaborative environment that integrates creativity. Lokahi is comprised of traffic engineers and landscape architects who look integrate and balance technical analysis with human scale elements. I am passionate about building and creating place and space intentionally. Right-sizing and optimizing are key elements in all that we do! I love complex projects and especially downtown developments! I am actively involved in ULI including the AzTAP committee, WLI/ULI mentorship program, and local and national product council. I attend trends day each year and also have partnered with ULI to host event at our office that has specifically been designed to integrate event space. I love ULI and love being part of this community! I am also a mom of four and the co-founder of Lokahi Teams, which is a non-profit organization with a mission to strengthen communities by removing barriers to sports participation.

Sara Yehia is the founding principal at Kenzy Architects in Phoenix, AZ. She studied architecture at the school of Fine Arts in Cairo, Egypt where she is originally from and earned a Master of Architecture at Arizona State University. Sara is a registered architect in Egypt and Arizona and has practiced in both. She designed over a million square feet of buildings, from corporate office and higher education to retail, restaurants, residential and industrial. Sara is currently a Faculty Associate at the Arizona State University, Teaching Architectural Design Studio. She is also active in several professional organizations and serves on several committees, including the Women’s Leadership Initiative committee for ULI. Sara’s power as an architect comes for her exceptional ability to connect and engage with people, identifying their goals and bringing their vision to reality but with a creative twist. Whether it’s a client or a team member, Sara influences positivity along the path of a project to ensure not only a successful outcome but also a collaborative and creative process.

I have been a ULI member since 2008, Chairing the Arizona Women's Leadership Initiative Committee for 6 years, Trends Day for 3 years and am now Treasurer for AZ District Council Leadership. Brinkmann Constructors specializes in private development in the industrial, multi-family, senior, student housing, medical office and retail markets. In my spare time I love to experience nature through hiking, kayaking, white water rafting and fishing.
