BUSINESS GRANTS – If you did not receive CARES Act Paycheck Protection Program or other funding, or you know of a Mesa small business that did not receive funding and needs help, there is still hope!
The City of Mesa grant is designed to assist for-profit Mesa businesses with up to 90 days of utilities and rent or mortgage payments and is aimed at those businesses who have experienced interruption caused by required closures.
The online application is open from Monday, May 11 at 8AM (MST) to Sunday, May 24 until 5PM. To see if your business is eligible and apply, visit www.MesaAZ.gov/CARESBizGrant or call 480-644-CARE (2273).
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE – In addition, soon the City of Mesa will be launching a Business Technical Assistance program to provide businesses that are struggling because of the healthcare crisis, a place to go to receive business consultation and technical assistance on important issues such as marketing, operations, safety, and others. Continue to watch www.MesaAZ.gov/MesaCARES for this forthcoming new program.
