    Urban Land Institute’s mission includes creating and sustaining thriving communities in Arizona and around the world. One of ULI’s initiatives is to use Creative Placemaking to help build strong, healthy cities by promoting the integration of arts and culture in community revitalization.
     
    As part of this mission, ULI Arizona is partnering with artists and the Guerrero Park neighborhood in Mesa to catalyze neighborhood revitalization through two-dimensional mural art with a project called ULI2D.  Artists have been collaborating with the Guerrero Park community through storytelling events to determine what neighbors envision for the murals….and now the fun begins!
     
    How can you get involved? Join artists and community members at our first Paint Day set for November 9th at Guerrero Park.  No artistic expertise required…just bring your enthusiasm, your “paint” clothes and we’ll provide the rest! Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly for supplies and refreshments.  See you there!
